GLENDA SBURELIN

Born in Pordenone in 1972, she has carried out studies in advertising graphics and photography. The passion for drawing brings her closer to the world of editorial illustration for children, counting about forty publications with Italian, European and non-European Publishers.
At the same time he also cultivates a keen interest in artistic research, using various techniques ranging from painting, to ceramics, to resin. In addition to the numerous illustration exhibitions, he has exhibited in exhibitions and personalities of contemporary art in Italy and abroad and in collective exhibitions of artist’s books.
The most significant illustration exhibitions include the “Illustrators Exhibition of the Bologna Children’s Book Fair”, the Portuguese Biennial “Ilustrarte3” and “Ilustrarte4”, “The Images of Fantasy” International Exhibition of Illustration in Sarmede (IT).
In 2009 she was selected at the “8th IBBY Regional Conference” of Northwestern University in Chicago, which included her among the 23 best illustrators of the “2009 Illustrators Show” of the Bologna Children’s Book Fair, the following year the “dpi” magazine will be include her among the 12 best illustrators of the Bolognese festival, exhibiting her works in two exhibitions in Taiwan: “In Fingers, Extra Space” (Taipei Creative Festival for Taipei Toy Festival) and “Imaginary Fairy Wonderland – dpi International Group Exhibition” (Kaohsiung City).
In 2012, the Cultural Initiatives Center Casa A. Zanussi of Pordenone acquires some of his works for the “Collection Concordia 7”, after the 2010 exhibition in the “Illustrated Paths” Exhibition.
