Alida Massari is an illustrator of children’s books. Born in Rome, where she earned her artistic baccalaureate, she attended the illustration course at the European Institute of Design.
After completing his studies he worked in the artistic field creating sets and story boards for cartoon series, pictorial animations for television theme tunes and didactic CDs.
He has participated in exhibitions and illustration contests obtaining numerous prizes, including the 2nd Prize in the “Stepan Zavrel” Competition in 2000 and the 1st Professional Prize at the Bordano Competition “On the wings of the butterflies” in 2003.
Since 2001 he has devoted himself almost exclusively to illustration for childhood.
He has published many books for children (Carthusia, Fabbri editore, Edizioni Patatrac, Elledici, Editrice Piccoli, etc …), covers, subsidiaries for the school and collaborates with various magazines for children.
